Gotham Neighbourhood Plan
The Public Hearing on the Gotham Neighbourhood Plan was held on Thursday 13th June 2019 in the Moonrakers Room.
The Examiner Mr Bob Yuille posed various questions on the Plan to John Anderson, Chairman of the NP Committee, Ken Mafham GPC’s planning advisor, Borough Councillor Rex Walker and 3 officers from Rushcliffe Borough Council. Also present was Mr Grace from Charterhouse, an agent representing the Taylor family who own the Hall Drive field known as GOT04.
The audience included several villagers including PC Chairman Barbara Walker and representatives from Davidsons, the developers of the GOT5a site (the land behind the bus depot).
The discussion ranged over many aspects of the Plan, but centred on the consultation procedure, the designation of land as Local Green Space and the Housing Policy. Changes to some policies will be made over the next few weeks and we will then await the Examiner’s decision as to the soundness of the Plan and whether it can proceed to referendum.
Detailed documentation and the policy amendments can be found on the Neighbourhood Plan page of the village website HERE.
