2 years ago this amazing group came and captivated us with their high energy, passionate performance.

At your request we have invited the amazing Zulu Tradition back to Gotham Church to entertain us with their amazing Zulu dances.

Do join us and be regaled with Zulu culture and heritage through traditional song, dance, drums and drama.

From Durban in KwaZulu Natal, which is just down the road from our partner parish, individual members of this group have performed for the royal family, festivals and national TV in both the UK and in South Africa when performing for the first officially sanctioned Mandela Day at the British Museum.

So what makes them so special? Imagine a youthful, Ladysmith Black Mambazo with high kicks who deliver a heady mix of African harmonies and high-energy, athletic dance. Imagine all this with traditional costumes and drum rhythms.

If you missed them last time they came you won’t want to make the same mistake, and if you did see them then you will want to repeat the experience. We can’t recommend them enough and as there are a limited number of tickets available early booking is essential.

We are proud of the fact that they came as performers and left as friends with the South African saying that they were leaving their hats which means they wanted to come back!

Tickets available from Val Hopkins on 0115 983 0930.
(Ticket includes a glass of wine and nibbles)
